Charcoal media can settle inside a horizontal vent lter casing and leave a gap

through which unltered air may ow. To reduce that possibility, SeaLand ECO

is concave so that the settling media will completely ll the middle, forcing

all malodorous gas to pass through the activated media for maximum odor

adsorption.

With the rst major change to the original SeaLand vent lter

in over 25 years, Dometic delivers everything boaters want in

vent lter performance and serviceability.

The innovative concave shape of the SeaLand ECO vent

lter assures that malodorous gases are completely ltered

through activated odor-adsorbing charcoal media. The result

is more thorough odor elimination – and the assurance of

more enjoyable boating.

Designed as a direct replacement for previous SeaLand

and Dometic vent ﬁlters, the new ECO vent lter ts in the

same installation brackets as older models. Hose adapters

for the most popular

vent hose sizes are

included with the

complete vent lter

kit (309311001).

Threaded adapters

are also included

for replacement

on many older

SeaLand holding

tank systems with

built-in vent lter.

Now constructed using recyclable plastics, all SeaLand

ECO lter components are much more ecologically friendly

than previous SeaLand lters and many other current vent

lters. The polypropylene hose adapters (plastic #5) for hose

sizes or connections that are not needed for an installation

can be immediately recycled. The eventually-replaced lter

cartridge – made of HDPE (plastic #2) – can also be recycled

when properly disposed.

The universal lter cartridge, made with 55% less plastic

than previous ﬁlter cartridges, ts ALL OE-installed

SeaLand ECO vent lters regardless of the vent hose size

for easy replacement.

Dual-size hose adapters (5/8+3/4 in. combo, 1+1.5

in. combo) and threaded adapters make replacing

previous vent ﬁlters easy.

SeaLand ECO ﬁlter replacement

cartridge (309311002) will ﬁt into

retaining fasteners of previous SeaLand

ECO ﬁlter, regardless of hose ID size.
